Maternity closet @ Fatherheart :)

When our girls come to Fatherheart, if they need clothing we have 2 closets that they can pick from. Often the girls are in denial that their bodies are growing! They often try to squeak into those jeans they wore before the pregnancy and find things have changed. We have organized the closets by sizes from S- XL. School uniforms are furnished which are khaki pants and black tops. (nothing to write home about ). People are generous to the girls and we are glad for that. We even have bathing suits for the water aerobics during warm weather. Everyone recognizes that the way we dress can affect the way we feel. It's no different with pregnant teens and ladies, maybe even more so. We have assigned staff to tidy and inventory these 2 closets now that we have established this system. Thought you might want a peek into some of our projects we did BEFORE our girls came back from the holidays. Nancy
