Jalin Tell arrives after 24 hours of hard labor ! Sambresha has been with us since she was 2 months pregnant. She worked diligently in school and received several credits in her 9th grade. She was 15 , one of our youngest girls. As a nurse, I will have to say that I have never seen a woman suffer in labor as she did. She persisted until 9 cm and with failure to progress, she had to have the baby by c-section. The family was worn out, we had all been 48 hours without sleep at the hospital sitting with this young mother. The baby was welcomed by an excited family and later faced a life threatening emergency. His bili count rose to a mortality rate of 22! Jalin was rushed to the neo-natal unit next door and for 6 days he was critical. He was prepared for a complete blood exchange to save his life, but the Lord intervened. The bili count began to drop after Christians all over the world began to pray !!!!! He was able to nurse, and be held. Sham entered motherhood like a champ. She sacrificed, suffered, and endured this ordeal with staples and exhaustion. Today they are both home, well, and healthy. God proved himself faithful of course during labor and after in the ICU. The family waiting a first peek! Sham and Jalin after the birth of their son. Baby Jalin, healthy and happy.
