Santa came for girls who could not go home. Christmas at a maternity home can be really sad when the girls can't go home. We had our work cut out for us! We decided to have our family Christmas early and then we could be at FH for our girls. We decorated the 10,000 sq. ft. home with trees, ribbons, nativity sets and lights inside and out! Smells of Christmas candles filled the rooms as Christmas music played day and night. We did a progressive supper for the girls, went to the show, did a service project for a needy family, watched movies, and even had snow during the holidays! The girls were blessed with gifts and great food on Christmas morning. Phone calls were endless to the families they longed to be with, but could not. We reflect back and feel it was a great Christmas and full of good cheer for sure. C&N
