STOLEN MOMENTS FOR MOM AND DAD
Despite the busy schedule starting at 5:30 am each day, coffee on the front porch with a quiet time, transporting girls, cooking, cleaning the swimming pool, classes, interviews, etc. There are a few stolen moments for us as parents! When our girls are tucked away at 10:00pm, the in house alarm set, we put our feet up. My favorite snack is the colored M&Ms on the coffee table, and Coach loves ice cream and a coke. We may watch a quick TV show, but mostly we just look at each other, massage each others feet, or visit. Our day has ended ( usually very peacefully) and we are taking time to breathe! We love our work here, but it is busy. Just keeping the house ready and homey at the same time is a full time chore. Working along side the girls to keep them encouraged and train them fills our days. They shop with us at the grocery store to provide meals for about 40 servings a day, washing dishes in the dish room, and turning a room over after a girl leaves. We are NEVER without something to do and week ends , we PLAY! Coach drives us everywhere in the "Great White"! We bounce around, (sometimes get sick:), tell Coach how to drive, and love to take snacks everywhere we go for the growing babies! The girls are never without a book to read, homework, or a new crocheting project. Life at Fatherheart is Full Blast ahead. The girls can still keep us with us or shall we say, us with them. The moments we steal are up to us. Roses are always waiting to be picked! C&N
