Meet Maci.... Have you ever seen a cowgirl pregnant? Well, here is one for you, Maci. She literally wears cowgirl boots with those jeans at the house. She loves the country, boots, mud bogs, and outdoors. We call her cowgirl and she is! She and Coach have a great relationship. She is making major decisions now dealing with parenting or placing. She is only 16, yet loves her child very much. She is very nurturing, but she is struggling with this decision. She sat in the office today and tears running down her face. I listened as she poured out her heart. Divorced parents has been a real hurt in her life. She holds in many secrets that keep the family "happy", but she is NOT! She is broken in fact and hurting. She is struggling that maybe there will NOT be the support she needs when she leaves Fatherheart. The babies birth father is only 16 also and their plans are not working out very well. We are pouring into her daily in hopes she will come to hear the voice of God for herself and make a mature decision that is BEST for her son she carries. She is homesick, struggling in school, and overwhelmed at times. Yet, she still carries on day by day. It has not been easy for Maci, but she has really grown. She has shared her testimony on our video ... For The Silent... and that was a big first step for her. Pray for her as we guide her into God's will allowing her to make these life changing decisions alone with God. C&N
