Receiving is fun and everyone does that well, but GIVING, can be a challenge to us all. The girls learned the meaning to that this week end when they GAVE during this Easter season. They made sock puppets for the Easter story, baked 75 cupcakes, and face painted on about 30 people while others were making snow cones. The smiles were their rewards. The giggles, the thank yous they received. It was only the beginning of the holiday and the Lord had much planned for the girls that they did not know. They gave first and then it was their time to receive. Easter took a new shape here at the maternity home. We shopped at Good Will, played games, hid eggs, dyed eggs, shopped for treats, decorated baskets, and shared spiritual times at the wooden cross in the dining hall. Our family here has grown to 6 girls and one mommy and her baby. 2 more are being considered for the next week. Thought you would like to know how we spent this precious holiday away from our families as the girls did also. C&N
