The secret passage in Fatherheart
Tours are every week here at Fatherheart. People are fascinated with the building, the number of girls here, and the stories behind this old home. It was originally a Sears home, ordered about 100 years ago. It was added onto to the present structure later. Melody Green bought it and later sold it to Bev Kline of Fatherheart (with YWAM) . There is MORE history for us than that. The people who last owned it 25 years ago, we knew. In fact, our daughter Amber use to play here and told me of the big red bath tub just for a cowboy to bathe in ! She often told me of the secret passage that was a book case. It opens up to the 3rd floor and is so neat. It is located in the room named Esther and as you see in the photo it is a book case. We always save this for the last of the tour . Isn't God so awesome to let us come back to roots from our past. The last owners were Dale and Betty Brown. Their 2 girls were in our prep school when we were in ministry before. NEVER did we ever dream, we would walk the halls of this majestic home checking on girls who were waiting to become mothers. Many giants in the Lord have prayed here and sought God's heart and direction. It feels good to know it's history for God. We never know the plans that God has for us! Conley and Nancy
