LOVE FEAST AT

FATHERHEART !!!!

Every Thursday night is our family style meal called Love Feast. Here is our time to sit down and pass the food around instead of our buffet style we often use. Thursday we decked the table with cloth napkins, candles, and a fine meal of baked fish, creamed potatoes, salad, and diet banana pudding. The girls were excited during the day and a little unsure of what to expect. One of our staff set the tone for us when she showed up in her PROM DRESS ! We all laughed and had a ball. The conversation when from candle light to dating, to finding Mr. Right. It was a great discipleship time to just converse over what are the qualities of a godly man and how to find him with the Lord's help. Part of the design of Fatherheart is to let these ladies in waiting know the heart of God for them. Some of the girls admitted that they had never sat down family style and NEVER set a table with a chart of where to place the silverware. Passing the food around challenged us all , (even Coach!). We will continue with these each Thursday nights. Conley and I aren't sure if we have any formal wear left, but ..... maybe a quick run to Good Will can take care of that for us. What a fun way to disciple and relate to one another. It also shows the girls how to handle themselves in more proper settings and how to be a lady. Everyone needs to feel valued, not just be told that , but to really feel it. I think we ALL felt it Thursday night. Conley and Nancy
