Salvation Army mom comes to Fatherheart

Loren came to us in a BIG rush from the Salvation Army about 3 hours from Fatherheart.  She had 3 children being put in CPS fostercare, her 1st child had been taken away by CPS and now she was pregnant again!  She demanded she needed an adoption and wanted to come here, soooooooooooooo off we went to pick her up.  The staff worked quickly to help her since she was due in 2 weeks and might deliver early being it was her 5th delivery at 26 yr. old.  Nancy drove her in praying not to deliver in the car.  The baby girl came early in the afternoon and weighed an average 7 lbs and 20 " long.  Loren did well.  She changed her mind after the safe delivery and insisted she was parenting.  We had to respect her choice, so she was placed in a shelter with other women, so she could keep the baby and make plans for her future with Alexus.  We were sad and not sure what will happen to Loren.  The place receiving them was very aware that she might not be able to take care of the baby properly.  It was a very sad day for Fatherheart and not at all what God had planned for Loren or her daughter Alexus.  We wish them the blessings of the Lord.
