OPEN HOUSE AT FATHERHEART 2011 The girls have learned it is more blessed to give than receive. Our Open House is to bless those that have been so very thoughtful and good to our young moms in waiting! The girls have hand made all the gifts in the first photo and will give them to each guest on Open House The stockings were sewn and hung by the house mom ( :)) just the night before Open House. We have 7 trees in the house and every floor from 1st to 3rd is decorated with lots of glittering balls, ribbons, and bells. The girls then had the baking to do for about 200 people! They met the challenge and some of it is still in the freezer! They delivered the left over food and gifts to the next town businesses the following day. They went into nursing homes and gave cookies and home made book marks. The banks got cookies in a jar and our year end report calendars along with other local businesses. Three of our girls will be here for Christmas, so remember them in your prayers. We had about 100 people at the Open House and got some new stainless steel cookware for our kitchen! TY all who came.
