Jordan in her Christmas sweater Christmas in July.....Joyful worship to their King!!!!!!
Rachel and Crystal opening their presents Christmas cookies and hot chocolate :)
The whole gang around the Christmas tree The girls learned the principle of being JOYFUL this week and the difference in happiness and joyfulness. Friday, our assignment was joyful giving. They met before dinner to hear the devotion about how much God loves us and the song "Oh, How He Loves Us". They girls were reminded that He shakes as we come into his presence with joy, and even when a new girl enters Fatherheart. He is sooooooooooo happy that He shakes with joy for one He loves to come into where His presence dwells! It was a touching moment with music, a candle in the fireplace, hot chocolate and Christmas cookies. We played the "white elephant" Christmas game and then Fatherheart had gifts for the girls. This week, they prepared their hearts, decorating journals each morning with scriptures. They served with joy for 2 hours at the staff members facility that is ministering to young men and women who are broken. They learned to be joyful with their tongues and words, became joyful givers by earning bucks in-house and buying special presents for others. Closing the week, on Friday, they became joyful worshipers with Veggie Tales playing, and singing to the Lord. We hope this principle with NOT leave them as they leave Fatherheart.
