Chasing the Dreams of God
Lindale, Texas, United States
As a retired couple, we decided to not rock on the porch, but rather chase the dreams of God! We are busy, love youth, and love working with youth. Our ages are not young, but our hearts are. We have always worked with youth in school, church, and foster parenting. Here at Youth With A Mission in Lindale, Texas, (YWAM) we have a chance to work with youth, travel around the world and touching them in the US. We are supported by individuals and churches. Each missionary is responsible to generate their own support. We enjoy introducing many to the love of God and His heart for them. So far, we have gone to Mongolia, worked in a maternity home,done street ministry in Houston and Chicago with the broken, bruised and hurting, and have been to Sudan to an orphanage. We did send our rocker to Sudan by a container, but we were NOT rocking on a porch with it! God has been abundant to us over our marriage of 42 years, 8 children, and a quiver full of grandchildren. We want to serve Him where His dreams are! Some call us Sarah and Abraham, others Coach and Mama Brown. Whatever the title, there is always a child behind the words it seems. That is what we love.
