EASTER AT FATHERHEART 2010 We had a few girls that stayed here over Easter and some staff, so we made a fun weekend celebrating our Lord's resurrection. We started on Friday and began with activities, dying eggs, an Easter basket decorating contest. We were blessed by a family of one of our girls that night with a fish fry he brought to us !!!!!!! Friday was our big day with the Foster children, and Saturday and Sunday focused on the girls. The cross sat in the bay window in the sitting area as the cloths draped on it changed colors of purple, black and white. The girls had notes on their mirrors of the crucifixion with black bows. As the week end progressed, the notes changed leading up to the resurrection and white bows and lilies were in the bathrooms with balloons celebrating our Saviour. Saturday we ate out, watched movies, and Sunday after early church and a brunch, we had the famous Fatherheart Egg Toss. There are pictures to follow.
