Love Feast @ Fatherheart........ Every other Wednesday night, we do a Love Feast with our girls. Usually it's a formal setting of china and cloth napkins with a very special meal. We practice our manners, passing to the left, saying please and thank you. This week, it was really special. We drug in the South Padre Umbrella we had bought and passed out the hula leas and grass skirts. The girls sat at their assigned seats and ate the yummy meal set before them. At the end of the meal we had folded orange cards with ????marks and a question inside. They were very random and we expected nothing from them to be honest. The Holy Spirit had different plans though. As we bounced from girl to girl, one girl had the question: What is a secret thing you would love to have?" I expected her to say, "a diamond ring", but that is NOT what she said. She wanted a big home with 2 parents, a mom and a dad, and the mom got to stay home! Wow, still waters running deep. The very next girl to my left read her ?, "Where do you go for FUN, REST, & PEACE? She said," well, I usually go to a football game for fun, the bed for rest, and for peace????, well, I have NEVER had an environment of peace until I came to FH. It's peaceful everywhere here!" This is a very quiet and reserved girl, who has been here only 6 weeks. There was something special about this umbrella tonight. It was colorful, fun, and it brought a warm atmosphere in to the girls. It was also where we gathered so unassuming, to hear the deep thoughts of our girls here at Fatherheart. C&N
