Lauren's graduation speech

A full house cheering her success! Lauren was our first girl to deliver, baby Jaden. She completed her high school here at our charter school. Lauren worked real hard and finally that day of recognition came for her. She was the ONLY graduate, but she walked in with the music as if she were among a hundred graduates. Her mother sat on the back row with baby Jaden, along with her step father and sister and family. The fatherheart girls crowded in with many of our staff. We all felt the deep emotions as Lauren recalled her drug addicted years and failures. She referred to Fatherheart as her Oasis now! She is a single parent, starting a new job in a few weeks, and one of our success stories here at Fatherheart. C& N
