Saying Goodbye, Hugs, and a Group Photo

We all knew Lauren and Jayden would have to leave and return home, but we hated to think about it. We had been together sooooo long. Jayden had filled our home here with cries and coos and wet diapers for over 2 weeks. We had all held him and helped her. The girls were great. The blue bassinet came down each am and up each pm. Our apartment was their quiet downstairs home for privacy. We all knew what formula he was on and about those little miracle drops that help with gas. It was a REAL learning curve for the whole house. Sunday, the suitcases came down and the balloons we had taken Lauren to the hospital. As we helped her load into her family vehicle with her parents, her tears could not be held back, nor could ours. We gathered ourselves for another group photo and we of course loved the fresh of the press one of Jayden on the Word of God. We circled around them one last time and prayed that prayer of love for them both and then waved good bye. We were blessed to invest in their lives and this was our first girl to deliver and parent. Isn't it awesome to see him depending on the Word in this photo? May he always lean on God's Word and Lauren too. We will miss them. N&C
