Learning to Serve.......

We have found it important to teach our girls at Fatherheart to serve. The girls are given so much during their stay @ Fatherheart. In this photo, they had made Valentine cookies and we took them to the local nursing home. The girls began shy, but finished full of laughter and joy. They handed out 42 heart shaped sugar cookies they had made the day before. They were amazed at the response they received and how easy it was to give and not ALWAYS receive. After our tour, 2 nurses gave their names to us for volunteering here at Fatherheart. It is better to always Give and not RECEIVE. We have done 2 other Service Projects and continue to look for ways to abandon ourselves in service for others. N& C
