Lauren has been with us here at Fatherheart for most of her pregnancy. She has long awaited this moment that finally came last Monday with the birth of Jayden her first born son. Lauren went in for induction after 6 wk. of bed rest and a tired wait. Despite her b/p and swollen feet, she delivered like a champ. Her mother had driven in to be with her. Nancy was at the house and Conley and a staff lady made the delivery just in time. Jayden is adorable and petite. He will be staying at Fatherheart with us for 2 wks. and then leaving with Lauren to return home. This was a special delivery for us because it was our first girl. The second photo seen in this blog shows the hands of a man around Jayden's face. It is Lauren's step father. He is touching Jayden because he is totally blind and this is his way of seeing Jaden. Pray for Jayden and Lauren as they return back home. We now have 4 other girls and one on the way. We will be interviewing in the AM for a broken woman who is pregnant.
