GIRLS IN THE KITCHEN !!!! The girls have started cooking on Tuesday nights at Fatherheart. It was their ideas and willingness to do it! I moved over quickly and loved every minute of it. Here you see Maci and Keyara doing their favorite recipes. Maci gave us a great country meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. She served a chocolate cake and only one piece was left! Keyara used a recipe from Louisiana and gave us shrimp in a cream sauce over noodles. Wow, why am I even in the kitchen I wondered? Our others girls are calling home and getting their favorite recipes from their moms! One of our girls has volunteered her dad for her meal time , but we have told her that is NOT going to float! The home is becoming theirs too and it's a blessing to see these girls settle in at FH like this. If you are ever in the area, come on by for a good homemade meal. N&C
